Washington D.C — In a speech at the Ministerial to Advance Religious Freedom, Vice President Mike Pence described the state of religious freedom around the world and said that the Tibetan people have been brutally repressed by the Chinese government for nearly 70 years.
Washington, D.C. — The Reciprocal Access to Tibet Act took a big step forward when the House Judiciary Committee approved the bill unanimously. The next step is for the act to move to the floor of the House of Representatives.

Dharamshala, HP, India — The Tibet Policy Institute a think-tank run by the Central Tibetan Administration has released a research paper contradicting China’s claim over progress made in Tibet ecology. The paper called Chinese White paper a ‘brazen lie’ and said “it would be wonderful reading to someone who knows very little about Tibet”.
