Sikyong of Tibet lauds administration's educational achievements


Dharamshala — The Tibetan political leader, Sikyong Dr Lobsang Sangay said the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) has increased from 135 scholarships to 600 this year and nurturing at least "500 professionals" annually, while recognising "Education" as one of his top priorities.

Dharamshala: - A study led by researchers from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States has discovered the genetic reason that Tibetans can live without medical complications on the Himalayan Plateau of Tibet, which has an average elevation of 14,800 feet.
