Dharamsala: Today is the 23rd birthday of the 11th Panchen Lama Gedhun Choekyi Nyima, one of the most important spiritual leaders of Tibet, who disappeared into the custody of the Chinese government 17 years ago.

New Enemies of the Internet – The fight for freedom of speech continues

Dharamshala: - To mark ‘World Day Against Cyber-Censorship', Reporters Without Borders is releasing an updated 2012 list of "Enemies of the Internet" and "countries under surveillance." Two countries, Bahrain and Belarus, have passed from the "countries under surveillance" to the "Enemies of the Internet" category. Venezuela and Libya have been dropped from the "under surveillance" category while India and Kazakhstan have been added to it.
