The participants included people concerned for the state of affairs in Tibet and Vietnam, as well as others suffering under communist regimes.
Mr. Thupten Tenzin - Vice-President of the VietNam Tibet Alliance was the one who gave the opening speech, introducing all the events. This was followed by a heartwarming speech by Mr. Ven Bagdo who spoke of atrocities committed by the communist government.
Then there was a report by Mrs. Tsewang Dolma, the International Relations and Information Secretary for the Tibetan Youth Congress. She spoke about the workings and fuctionings of the organization and its efforts to bring about a better life for Tibetans.
The VietNam- Tibet Alliance Fighting for Freedom is an organization which was founded in Dharamsala?in 2011 by the founder of the " Movement of the Vietnamese Women fighting for Freedom " and co-operated with a group of Tibetans who wanted to fight for the Freedom of Tibet.
A lot of rallies and political meetings has been organized by this group to propagate the ideas of freedom and democracy.
