Human Error Caused Deadly Mudslide in Drugchu, Tibet

China Claims Tibet to Promote as a “World Tourism Destination”

Dharamshala: China claimed that it wants to double the annual number of tourists visiting Tibet by the year 2015. According to a state media, more than 20 millions of tourists, among which 1 million of foreigners, have visited the region during the past five years. The number of visits has increased by 30,6% every year since 2006.

Dharamshala: Two Tibetan monks from Meldro Gungkar county, central Tibet died after being released from Chinese prison said a report from Tibet received on Wednesday. China Increased Human Rights Violations in Tibet: Rights Group

Dharamshala: The Tibetan Centre for Human Rights and Democracy (TCHRD), today released its annual comprehensive report on the situation Tibetans within Tibet are experiencing. The report covers all areas of human rights violations in Tibet including language genocide, civil liberty infringements, religious restrictions and cultural discrimination. The report is very damning of China's treating of Tibetans through-out 2010, citing a continuing backlash to the uprising in 2008 as well as attempts to eradicate the Tibetan culture for China's increasing human right violations.
