Dharamshala — His Holiness the Dalai Lama extended his sincere congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 75th birthday and wished him good health. He thanked the Indian government and people for their warm and generous hospitality over the past 66 years. His Holiness stated," India presents an example of harmony and stability to the world."

Dharamshala — Khenpo Sonam Tenphel, Speaker of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile, and Sikyong Penpa Tsering of the Central Tibetan Administration extended their sincere congratulations to Sushila Karki on her appointment as interim Prime Minister of Nepal. Sikyong also spoke on the difficulties faced by exiled Tibetans in Nepal and expressed hope that her leadership would bring positive changes for Tibetans in the country.

Dharamshala — All India Tibet support groups held their 8th conference in Dharamsala and adopted a declaration on the final day. This declaration condemns human rights violations committed by the Chinese government in Tibet, calls on the Indian government to support the Tibetan cause, and rejects China's claims regarding the reincarnation of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama.

Dharamshala — More than 20 India Tibet support groups in India offered long life prayers for His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the spiritual leader of Tibet, in Dharamshala on Wednesday. More than 500 Indians from different religious and cultural backgrounds participated in the ceremony to pray for the long life of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

Dharamshala — "China's Colonial Game in Tibet" was launched in Dharamsala on March 6, 2026, a few days before Tibetan Uprising Day on March 10, 2026. This book talks about the independent status of Tibet, His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the reincarnation of the Dalai Lama, the Tibetan cultural genocide, the destruction of the environment, education as a colonial tool under the Chinese Communist government, the Tibetan freedom movement, and Tibetan self-immolations.

Dharamshala — Secretary of State Marco Rubio wishes Tibetans a warmest happy Losar (New Year) and appoints Riley M. Barnes, Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor (DRL), as the U.S. Special Coordinator for Tibetan Issues. He said,"The United States remains committed to supporting the unalienable rights of Tibetans and their distinct linguistic, cultural, and religious heritage."
