Dharamshala — Chinese authorities detained the young Tibetan, who recently posted videos, to expose the illegal extraction of sand by Chinese company in his region, in Gakog county, Ngawa, Tibet. Instead of solving the problems of local Tibetans and the damage being done to the environment, the Chinese authorities detained the Tibetan and interrogated him about his recent videos. Tibetans are very concerned about his well-being.

Dharamshala — In recent months, the Chinese authorities have organised various activities to Tibetan children in Chinese boarding schools in Tibet, to make Tibetan children think in Chinese, be loyal to the CCP and learn Chinese ideologies, especially Chinese President Xi's thought . These activities include instilling of "the sense of national security", "children's heart towards the party (CCP)", "children's deep love for the motherland (China)", and training Tibetan children in “law enforcement” and “national defence”.

Dharamshala — A Tibetan monk detained by Chinese police while attempting to escape from Tibet to India. He was beaten, tortured and treated inhumanely for more than a month in a Chinese prison. He died four months after being released from the Chinese prison.

Dharamshala — Chinese authorities arrested a Tibetan monk from Rebgong County, in March this year, for posting the teachings of His Holiness the Dalai Lama on his social media platform (Wechat). After five months in detention, he was sentenced by a Chinese court last month to one and a half years in prison.

Dharamshala – The Chinese authorities in Ngawa county, eastern Tibet, sentenced a Tibetan monk, Lobsang Thamke, to three years in prison, after a year in detention. He had been arrested in June 2023 for allegedly publishing Tibetan books from outside Tibet and contacting Tibetans in exile.
