DHARAMSHALA, March 19: Dozens of unarmed Tibetans were injured after Chinese security forces fired tear gas and used explosives to disperse a crowd of peaceful protesters. Sources reveal that dozens of Tibetans sustained injuries, while six of them are believed to be in a critical condition.

Dharamsala: In March 2012, five protestors had gathered in a Tibetan restaurant in the Nagchu region, planning a peaceful protest against the Chinese government, discussing matters such as the return of His Holiness to Tibet and the freedom of their country.

DHARAMSHALA: Following two successive self-immolation incidents in neighbouring Rebgong on 16 and 17 March, thousands of Tibetans took to the street in Sogdzong in northeastern Tibet's Malho region to protest against the Chinese government.

At about 5 pm on March 16th, Losang Tsultrim, a 20 year old monk at the Tantric college of Kirti monastery, set himself on fire. He proceeded to march along the main road in the upper part of Ngaba county town, shouting slogans of protest against the Chinese government.

Today at 10:30 am, Jamyang Phalten, age 34 from Rebkong Rongwo monastery, self-immolated in protest of Chinese oppression. The Chinese authorities removed him from Dolma square and transported him to Malho Hospital, where he was later released and returned back to Rebkong monastery.

Dharamsala: An attempt by Tibetans to stop the arrest of their peer has resulted in the death of one Tibetan and the serious injury of two others. Chinese security personnel opened fire on a crowd of Tibetans in Pema of the Golok region on Tuesday after arresting one Tibetan for his suspected participation in January anti-China protests.
