Dharamshala - The U.S. based Freedom House, an independent watchdog organization dedicated to the expansion of freedom around the world has published its latest report on China, including Tibet and Xinjiang and states that there is an increase in repression under the new leadership of Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Dharamshala: –China's Communist regime is a powerful one with every kind of modern weaponry—except one to counter the Tibetans who are leading a peaceful and non-violent freedom struggle, including self-immolations, in protest against the present repressive policies of the regime towards the Tibetan people.

Dharamshala: - International Human Rights Day passed few days ago with a very meaningful message of the United Nations for the whole world, whole year, and specially for those who never had the opportunity to enjoy the real human rights. This year's official slogan is "Human Rights 365," which underscores the new idea with new hopes that every day is a human rights day.

Dharamshala: - On December 10, Tibetans and supporters all over the world will mark the 25th anniversary of the day the spiritual leader of Tibet His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for his commitment to world peace, justice and freedom and his consistent resistance to the use of violence in his people's struggle to regain their liberty.

Dharamshala: - Chen Quanguo, the so called Chinese party chief in Tibet, recently described a 'new measure' that would make a big difference to Tibet and its people. In reality, the measure will only expand crime and severe punishment in Tibet.

Dharamshala: - The military-dominated regime of China has, for decades, occupied and oppressed Tibetans and its own people. Major cities and counties of Tibet, east to central Tibet has become more like prisons. China's iron-fisted policy has turned Tibet into a virtual fortress.
