Dharamshala: - A new book by Lesley Freeman, an English woman, "Running from Tenda Gyamar," foreword by His Holiness the Dalai Lama, is a story of her struggles as a volunteer teacher, living and working with the refugee children of Tibet in the Himalayan township of Northern India.

Dharamshala: Tibetan monk, Tashi Khenpo, has recently published his book Invisible Angel. Tashi Khenpo was born in 1977, in Kham, a district of Dzachukha (Ganzi shiqu County). He spent his childhood grazing, digging for ginseng and caterpillar fungus to help make ends meat.

New Delhi: - A special training programme for Tibetan students, who are currently studying at universities in New Delhi and Bangalore being held in New Delhi, the capital of India, focusing on enhancement Business Communication and Etiquette, and English language skills.

Dhartamshala: - A newly founded "Tibetan Social Service" (TSS) said, hoping to provide a social service or needed social assistance to the community in exile, particularly poor and elderly people, and its programmes will take aim at promoting both social and political awareness among the youth of Tibet and their future education skills.
