Leh, Ladakh, J&K: - July 15th and 16th 2013 marked a special achievement for Siddartha High School, a remote school located high in the Himalayas of Northern India. Twenty years ago, a Tibetan Buddhist Monk, Khan Rinpoche Lobsang Tsetan, had an idea.

Dharamshala: - After years of deliberation the Department of Religion and Culture of the Central Tibetan Administration in Dharamsala finally took the decision to grant the Geshema degree to Buddhist nuns.

Dharamshala: - The London Metropolitan University, which has awarded scholarships to 16 Tibetan students, since 1998, has been recognised for its commitment in educating and supporting the Tibetan community.

Dharamshala: - A new book by Lesley Freeman, an English woman, "Running from Tenda Gyamar," foreword by His Holiness the Dalai Lama, is a story of her struggles as a volunteer teacher, living and working with the refugee children of Tibet in the Himalayan township of Northern India.

New Delhi: - A special training programme for Tibetan students, who are currently studying at universities in New Delhi and Bangalore being held in New Delhi, the capital of India, focusing on enhancement Business Communication and Etiquette, and English language skills.
