Dharamshala — His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet has expressed his condolences on the death of Dr Aaron Beck, the father of cognitive therapy whose work is considered revolutionary worldwide for the treatment of mental health - a major contribution to psychological science and psychotherapy.

Dharamshala, India — "Happiness is very much related with our emotions. If our mental state is calm and peaceful, then external factors can not disturb our mind. The mind can be trained to build constructive emotions and reduce destructive emtions," said His Holiness the Dalai Lama, while interacting with scientists as part of the Science & Wisdom of Emotions Summit.

Dharamshala, India — His Holiness the Dalai Lama issued a firm statement Monday offered his special gratitude to the medical staff—doctors, nurses, and other support personnel—who are working on the frontline to save lives at great personal risk. He praised them saying "their service is indeed compassion in action."

Aurangabad, India — His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet, urges the more than 50,000 people attending his teachings of Buddhism to understand the meaning of Buddha and his teachings to follow his faith at the stadium of PES College of Physical Education in Aurangabad on 24th November 2019. He also asks the followers to be a 21st century Buddhist with reason and logic, not to follow faith blindly.

Plateau goa — "Scientists have found that constant hatred eats away at our human system. But our basic nature, since we are social animals, is more compassionate. That’s the basis of our hope,” His Holiness the Dalai Lama said in Maharashtra's Aurangabad on Wednesday. He also assured that the Nalanda teachings also align with findings from modern science.

Dharamshala, India — "Different points of view appeal to people of different dispositions, but what is most important to remember is that all religious traditions stress the importance of cultivating loving-kindness," His Holiness the Dalai Lama told a large group of Buddhist devotees over 40 countries, in Dharamsala, India on Thursday.
