His Holiness the Dalai Lama of Tibet arrived in Ladakh, India
Leh, Ladakh – His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the spiritual leader of Tibet, arrived in Leh, Ladakh, on Tuesday, and tens of thousands of local residents, Ladakhis and Tibetans queued up to welcome His Holiness. After his arrival, he said he was happy to be here: "it seems I may eventually be able to visit Lhasa. However, even if I am able to go, I don’t plan to stay there. I would rather return to India and be able to visit Ladakh again".

Dhasa United won the 28th Gyalyum Chenmo Memorial Gold Cup
Dharamshala – The 28th Gyalyum Chenmo Memorial (GCM) Gold Cup was held at the Upper TCV School in Dharamshala. 16 Tibetan teams from Europe, Australia and India took part in the tournament. The final match took place between Dhondupling FC and Dhasa United on June 11, 2023. Dhasa United won the 28th Gyalyum Chenmo Memorial Gold Cup and this is the first time they have won the Gyalyum Chenmo Memorial (GCM) Gold Cup.
His Holiness the Dalai Lama celebrates his 88th birthday with thousands of people in Dharamshala
Dharamshala, India – Thousands of people from Dharamshala and around the world joined the Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister and top officials of the Central Tibetan Administration to celebrate the 88th birthday of His Holiness the Dalai Lama at the main Tibetan monastery in Dharamshala, where Tibetans performed dances to mark the auspicious occasion and wish him a long life. His Holiness declared that he will live another 15 to 20 years and will continue to serve humanity with love and compassion.
Speaker urges Tibetans to follow the lead of His Holiness at the 65th Founding Anniv. of Chushi Gangdruk
Dharamshala – Chushi Gangdruk commemorated the 65th anniversary of its foundation in Bir, HP, India, on June 16, 2023. Speaker Khenpo Sonam Tenphel was the chief guest at the anniversary. Speaker commemorated the efforts of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and urged people to follow in his footsteps. In addition to commemorating the 65th anniversary of its foundation, the organisation also held the 51st meeting of its Board of Directors and paid tribute to Andrug Gonpo Tashi, the founder of Dokham Chushi Gangdruk, on the 60th anniversary of his death.
