Dharamshala, India — In any modern democratic government system, there must be three principle bodies, the judiciary, the executive and the legislature. Tibetan democracy is not only based on this separation of powers, but also based on cooperative working.

Dharamshala — The upcoming Tibetan elections are a significant milestone for democracy in Tibetan community, as the second Tibetan general election after the complete development of His Holiness the Dalai Lama from his political role is fast approaching.

Dharamshala — The Chinese government is guilty of mass genocide against the Tibetan people and we must urge the international community, governments and individuals to openly stand by Tibet and its people. We are not saying all Chinese are bad, or guilty of killing 1.2 million Tibetans, just their current government.

Dharamshala — The Chinese President Xi Jinping's commitment to "Ethnic Unity", "Economy Development" and "Social Stability" in Tibet under the banner of "Peaceful Liberation", which nether seeks a peaceful solution nor a signal for a new reform of more openness.

Dharamshala — International community is shocked by the Chinese government's praise of its own human rights performance last year in a white paper published recently, despite the fact that the regime continues to have one of the worst human rights records in the world.
