Dharamshala — The elected Ministers (Kalon), Tsegyal Chukya Dranyi, Palden Dhondup,Tsering Dhondup Gyangser, Ugyen Tenzin, Kunga Tashi, and Pema Tso took oath of office, before Yeshi Wangmo, the Chief Justice of the Tibetan Supreme Justice Commission on Wednesday, in Dharamshala.
The elected Ministers, Tsegyal Chukya Dranyi, Kashag Secretary; Palden Dhondup, Secretary of the Department of Home; Tsering Dhondup Gyangser, Secretary of the Department of Finance; Ugyen Tenzin, former Tibetan Parliamentarian; Kunga Tashi, Tibetan Liaison Officer at the Office of Tibet in Washington, D.C., USA and former CTA Secretary; and Pema Tso, Tibetan Parliamentarian took oath of office, before Yeshi Wangmo, the Chief Justice of the Tibetan Supreme Justice Commission, on June 3, 2026, at Sikyong hall, T-building, CTA, Gankyi, Dharamshala.
Sikyong Penpa Tsering has appointed Tsegyal Chukya Dranyi as the Minister of Religion and Culture, Palden Dhondup as the Minister of Home, Tsering Dhondup, Minister of Financial, Ogyen Tenzin as the Minister of Education, Kunga Tashi as the Minister of Security, and Pema Tso as the Minister of Health.
The 18th Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile held it's first session at the TPiE hall, on June 2, 2026 and elected six Ministers of the 17th Kashag of the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA).
