Dharamshala — Members of the 18th Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile, elected six Ministers (Kalon) of the 17th Cabinet (Kashag) of the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) on Monday. The elected Ministers are Tsegyal Chukya Dranyi, Palden Dhondup, Tsering Dhondup,Ugen Tenzin, Kunga Tashi, and Pema Tso.

Dharamshala — Speaker Dolma Tsering Teykhang and Deputy Speaker Khenpo Sonam Tenphel of 18th Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile, took the oath of office before Chief Justice Commissioner Yeshi Wangmo, at Sikyong Hall in Gangchen Kyishong, Dharamshala, on June 1, 2026. Dolma Tsering becomes the first woman elected as the Speaker of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile.

Dharamshala — The first-ever Tibetan Cultural Festival begins on May 28, 2026 at the police ground in Dharamshala. There will be traditional Tibetan dance performances, Tibetan art and craft displays, Tibetan medicine consultation, photography exhibition, screenings of documentaries about His Holiness the Dalai Lama in Hindi, children's activities, food stalls selling a variety of Tibetan dishes, live music performances, and variety books to sell.

Dharamshala — Penpa Tsering, the elected Sikyong (President) was sworn in as Sikyong of the 17th Kashag (Cabinet) of the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA), before Yeshi Wangmo, the Chief Justice of the Tibetan Supreme Justice Commission and in the presence of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the Spiritual leader of Tibet, on Wednesday, in Dharamshala.

Berlin — The Association of Tibetans in Germany and the Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts (TIPA), as part of a joint initiative with the Tibet Office in Geneva, took part for the first time in the famous Berlin Carnival Festival. The Tibetan culture has achieved a remarkable success by winning the overall winner award for their outstanding cultural performances.

Dharamshala — His Holiness the Dalai Lama granted an audience to the Sikyong and Ministers of the Central Tibetan Administration. Sikyong Penpal Tsering, Kalon (Minister) Tharlam Dolma of the Department of Education, Kalon Gyari Dolma of the Department of Security, and Kalon Norzin Dolma of the Department of Information and International Relations of the Central Tibetan Administration paid tribute to His Holiness at the end of his term of office.
