Dharamshala — Tibetan Youth Congress began its bike rally in 110 cities across 20 Indian states, to draw attention to the current dire situation in Tibet, including China's ongoing actions to eradicate Tibetan culture and exploit Tibet's natural resources. The Tibetan Youth Congress urges India to adopt a resolution supporting the historical independent status of Tibet to ensure a long term security for India.

Dharamshala — Tong-Len School (Tong-Len Charitable Trust) today celebrated the 20th anniversary of its foundation. Tong-Len School's founder, Tibetan monk Lobsang Jamyang, said that over the past 20 years, the charity had helped more than 23,000 children and poor people, who used to beg on the streets, to gain access to education and provide free healthcare service to the poor in the slums of Dharamshala.

Dharamshala — On International Chidren's Day, Central Tibetan Women's Association launched a motorcycle rally entitled "Alarming situation for Tibetan children and environment" to raise awareness of one million Tibetan children in Chinese colonial-style boarding schools and China's destruction of Tibet's environment. Tibetan women urge Indian Prime Minister Modi to raise these issues with Chinese leaders during their meeting.

Dharamshala — The Tibet Museum launched an exhibition entitled “Rivers of the Sky: Glaciers to Valleys” ahead of the COP29 summit, and Tibetan leader urged world leaders to discuss the Tibetan environment, rivers, glaciers and their impact on global climate change at the upcoming COP29 summit in Azerbaijan.

Dharamshala — Khadhok, a collective of Tibetan artists organised an art exhibition entitled ‘UNSETTLED’ at Mcleod Ganj on November 1, 2024. The exhibition features 20 exiled Tibetan artists from around the world. The artworks explore themes of Tibetan identity, displacement and the universal journey of belonging. The artworks also illustrated the unsettled lives of Tibetans in Exile.

Dharamshala — Lobsang Yeshi was sworn in as a Commissioner of the Tibetan Election Commission and Tsultrim Dorjee was sworn in as a member of the Public Service Commission on Monday, in accordance with the Charter of Tibetans in Exile.

Dehradun — A ceremony of prayer for long life and the celebration of the 80th birthday of Sakya Gongma Trichen Dorje Chang Rinpoche, the 41st holder of the throne of the Sakya school of Tibetan Buddhism, took place on October 3, 2024. Representatives of Central Tibetan Administrations and Tibetan communities joined in the celebration of his birthday.
