Dharamshala — His Holiness the Dalai Lama congratulated Mark Carney, on his election as Prime Minister of Canada on Monday. His Holiness wrote: "I wish you every success in fulfilling the hopes and aspirations of the people of Canada and in contributing to global peace and stability."

Hague — The Dutch Parliament has adopted a three-point motion on Tibet. The motion calls for the appointment of an EU Special Representative for Tibet, rejects China's interference in the selection of the Dalai Lama's successor, and demands international attention to human rights violations in Tibet.

Dharamshala — UK-based National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) has revealed that hackers are targeting Tibetan, Uyghur and Taiwanese groups in the overseas through apps and social media groups, who are advocating human rights and freedom for their own people at home. This is yet another example of China's transnational repression.
