His Holiness the Dalai Lama of Tibet begins two-day teaching online
His Holiness the Dalai Lama appeared online rom his residence in Dharamsala, HP. India on Saturday morning, May 16, 2020. Thousands of followers including Tibetans and Buddhists listening at homes around the world.
His Holiness the Dalai Lama began his teaching in the morning. He made briefly Introduction to Buddhism.
His Holiness' two day teaching on Chapters 1 and 4 of Nagarjuna's "Precious Garland" will be multiple live streaming on social media platforms. His Holiness has also been requested to provide general advice appropriate to these challenging times.
When watching the webcasts, viewers are earnestly requested to observe the social distancing protocols recommended wherever they live.

“At the request of individuals and groups from around the world, His Holiness the Dalai Lama has graciously consented to give a two-day teaching on Chapters 1 and 4 of Master Nagarjuna’s “Precious Garland (rinchen trengwa)”, the statement read.
In a coordinated response to the coronavirus pandemic, the spiritual leader of Tibet Sunday said, “In this time of serious crisis, we face threats to our health and sadness for the family and friends we have lost. Economic disruption is posing a major challenge to governments and undermining the ability of so many people to make a living.”
His Holiness' office also mentioned that those interested may watch the live webcast of the teachings and listen to them in Tibetan, English, Chinese and other languages on the official websites and Facebook pages of the Office of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
