Dharamshala — Amid political tension between China and Mongolia following the Dalai Lama’s visit to the Mongolian capital Ulaanbaatar and the cancellation of an important bilateral talk, China has allegedly also imposed additional fees on commodity deliveries between the two countries.
Ulaanbaatar — The spiritual leader of Tibet, His Holiness the Dalai Lama met with members of the Mongolian media, concluding his ninth trip to Mongolia on November 23rd.
Ulaanbaatar — Despite Chinese government strong protest, His Holiness the Dalai Lama arrived in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia where he was warmly welcomed by devotees, including government representatives, and senior monks of Mongolian monasteries.
Tokyo, Japan — Politically we are not looking for independence, we want to stay within China. But Tibet issue is not just a political matter, His Holiness the Dalai Lama said while Clarifying his position on the issue of Tibet.
