Tibetan leader returns from extended trip to Japan and Mongolia

HHDL returnsDharamshalaHis Holiness the Dalai Lama returned to Dharamshala on November 28th after traveling for three weeks to both Japan and Mongolia.

His Holiness was received at the airport by Sikyong Dr Lobsang Sangay and other top officials of the Central Tibetan Administration.

His Holiness the Dalai Lama gave a series of public talks in Kyoto, Koyasan, Saitama and Yokohama. His Holiness also had extensive interactions with senior Japanese priests, Korean Buddhists and Japanese students, before traveling to Mongolia despite complaints from the Chinese government.

His Holiness is scheduled to remain at his residence in Dharamshala for a break and rest until January, when he will travel to Bodh Gaya to give Kalachakra empowerment for more than 15,000 expected guests.
