Dharamshala, India — The International Tibetan Youth Forum, with the participation of 100 young Tibetans from over 16 countries, concluded the meeting on July 20, 2023 and reached a joint declaration entitled "Declaration of the International Tibetan Youth Forum", which states: "Our mission is to harness our collective power to inform the world and its leaders of the truth about Tibet, its historical independence, illegal occupation, and our people’s nonviolent struggle for freedom."

Shewatsel, Leh, Ladakh, UT, India – His Holiness the Dalai Lama delivered a message on the International Tibetan Youth Forum on Tuesday. His Holiness stated that "the cause of Tibet is not only political, it is also about establishing peace in the world by training the mind on the basis of reason and developing love, compassion and the special resolve to bring benefit and happiness to all sentient beings".

In a recent report, Paris-based global press freedom watchdog Reporters Without Borders (RSF) warned of a new threat to press freedom in China: a new smartphone service designed to 'train' and even assess journalists for regime propaganda. The new tool has just been launched and will 'help' journalists pass the test of loyalty to Xi Jinping, the leader of China's totalitarian regime.

Leh – His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the spiritual leader of Tibet, has written to the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh to express his solidarity with those affected by the floods and landslides in India, and particularly in Himachal Pradesh, the state where His Holiness has lived for more than sixty years, and has made a donation for the relief and assistance operations.

Dharamshala – His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet met representatives of the United States in New Delhi following of his birthday. On his way to Ladakh, His Holiness spoke to journalists about China's intentions regarding the situation in Tibet. He said: "Now China also realizes the Tibetan people, their spirit is very strong. So in order to deal with the Tibetan problem, they want to contact me. I am also ready."

Dharamshala — Prominent leaders and personalities including PM, Secretary and MPs from around the world sent greetings and congratulations to His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama on the occasion of his 88th birthday. Social media platforms were flooded with greetings from his supporters and followers, who appreciated his greatness and perseverance in championing the cause of Tibet and securing world peace.
